About Us
Bridges Capital builds on more than 70 years of the Bridges family’s experience owning and growing industrial business in Australia.
That journey began with the evolution of the B&R Enclosures business, which has grown to become Australia’s largest electrical enclosure solutions provider. The experience gained in building and operating B&R continues to shape how we invest today — with a practical understanding of what it takes to grow real businesses over the long term.
While B&R remains a cornerstone of our business family, Bridges Capital focuses on investing in established Australian businesses, particularly in the industrial sector that we believe forms the backbone of the economy. We partner with founders and management teams by providing capital, operational perspective and long-term strategic support.
Our approach reflects our identity as a multi-generational business family. Today the third generation of the Bridges family is actively leading all aspects of the enterprise, while the fourth generation is developing through education, professional experience and in some cases direct involvement in the family business. This continuity reinforces our long-term mindset and commitment to responsible stewardship.
Beyond capital, we believe in contributing to the broader business and community ecosystems in which we operate. Members of the Bridges family and team remain actively engaged in industry and community organisations, reflecting a belief that strong businesses play an important role in supporting thriving communities.
Real Experience. Real Investment.
